Routine Maintenance:
Routine maintenance and servicing is vitally important to ensure optimum performance and fuel consumption. With extended service intervals becoming the norm on modern vehicles it is essential that the usage of the vehicle is considered when undertaking a service and that quality parts are used. We use high quality lubricants and OE quality parts when servicing and carrying out repairs.
Due to European legislation the use of these quality items means that any vehicle manufactures warranty will not be invalidated if you use a garage outside of their franchise network for maintenance.

Engine Management:
Engine management lights can illuminate for numerous reasons. Guessing the cause or diagnosis by substitution is not acceptable and is expensive. We use the latest equipment to read the fault codes and advanced equipment to view live data to determine where the fault lies.

ABS / TCS:
ABS system operation is a critical safety issue and will result in an MOT failure should the warning light be illuminated. Correct operation can be restored when the fault is identified.

Airbag:
Airbag / SRS systems have been used on vehicles for some years now. An illuminated airbag / srs lamp indicates a malfunction and should be investigated to return the system to full functionality in the event of a collision.

Air Conditioning:
Did you know that your vehicles air conditioning system should be serviced?
The systems ability to cool diminishes over time and it should be inspected periodically for performance. Most manufacturers recommend re-filling / re-gassing the system every 2 years even if the system appears to be operating correctly.
Should the system fail to work then it may have a leak. These leaks should be traced using an inert gas system as the refrigerant is harmful to the environment (It is also illegal to test for leaks using refrigerant).
We are able to undertake both the re-filling and safe & legal.leak testing as well as testing the electrical components that make up your air conditioning system.
The refrigerant will be identified in the first instance to ensure that it has not been refilled with inappropriate gas. After that a structured test routine will be carried out to ensure correct operation or identify any fault.
Please note that running your air conditioning regularly (At least once a month) can reduce the need for repairs.
